Guys -- I worked a lot in and on the Godsey 218/405 this weekend to get
my calculations restarted properly.  While doing that I updated all of
the operating systems and also took care of the big servers in the 219
Server Room.

I also re-wrote my PBS scripts that you will need for your upcoming work
-- and I am happy to say that everything is "a go for launch".   You
should have no problems completing the remaining MPI assignments.
However, the assignments that we will be doing this week will be doing
benchmarking across systems.  As such, if you are actually using a
system interatively in Godsey 218 while someone is accessing it for
testing your results (and their results) could be incorrect.   This will
probably be the case for the remainder of the semester.

So, I would like for us to plan to meet in Willet 235 on Tuesday of this
week.   That is the same room we met in last time in Willet.  Please
make sure you watch the video on MPI matrix multiplication.  On Tuesday
you will start your adventure with that code.

All of the remaining assignments for the semester are already on CANVAS
and they will open over the next few days.  You next "assignment with
short paper" will be due a week from today.  It's a proof o concept
model and not that bad -- I will introduce you to it on Tuesday.
