    <p><font face="serif">Jesse and I are still working on getting the

        new HPC server up and running and I can't turn you loose with

        parallelism on cobra -- so I am going to have to delay our introduction

        to parallel computing for one week.  <br>

    <p><font face="serif">I am also reasonably confident that some of

        you are still in the dark on how to prepare your paper that </font>is

      due on Thursday.  As such we will extend the deadline for the

      paper to next Tuesday (February 13) to give you a little more

      time.</p>

    <p>I will demonstrate for you today how to build a performance plot

      in gnuplot and put it into a word processing program.</p>
