<p><font face="serif">Some of you are reporting problems because PBS
is not returning the output to you from one of the ithaca
nodes. This is most likely due to the fact that when you set up
your keys you only used the "shortened" machine name when
logging in and not the fully qualified domain name. <br>
</font></p>
<p>To try and resolve this issue, do the following.</p>
<p><font face="serif">Log into each systems from hammer with the
fully qualified domain name.<br>

ssh csc204com01.cs.mercer.edu<br>
ssh csc204com02.cs.mercer.edu<br>

ssh csc204com21.cs.mercer.edu<br>

each time you do this you may get a message asking for
permission to do this. Once done, the FQDN will be stored and
you should be able to log in the second time without a password
- to either the short name or the FQDN.<br>
<br>
do this for hammer.cs.mercer.edu<br>
<br>
Once you do all of these, PBS should return the file to you.</font></p>
<p>NOTE: for this to work the systems MUST be booted into Linux and
be under the olympus/asgard domain.</p>
