Guys -- after building the newest version of
MPI from source (which works GREAT with the newest compiler
suite) another problem was encountered. The hostnames of the
systems in GSC 218 do not adhere to the new standard - and thus
MPI will not recognize them. All these hosts get there names
from the DHCP server that IT manages. I have submitted the
request and once that is handled I have to modify all of the
local configurations that refer to the hosts.

Keep plugging away at the BabyBLAS on hammer
-- because until this gets resolved GSC 218 is virtually
unusable for parallel code development.
