    <p><font face="serif">We will meet on Thursday to hear Vraj give us

        a short presentation of CThreads.  I also have a small

        assignment I am putting together that will let you test out the

        processing power of the GPU's.  I got the CUDA toolkit installed

        again on all of the systems in lab 218 and 405.  Unfortunately I

        have not made much process on building out the Gnu Compiler

        Suite code for compiling code to be run on the GPU's - but next

        week I hope to show you an example of how this functionality

        works.   Due to the age of the GPU's in the lab,  getting

        OpenACC to run via the Gnu Compiler Suite may not happen -- but

        I can demonstrate it using the Nvidia compilers.  I just don't

        want to install those compilers everywhere because they take up

        an enourmous amount of disk space.</font></p>
