The following web tool will determine the t value for calculating confidence intervals. Because it is sometimes necessary to calculate confidence intervals that are not tabulated, this tool was specifically designed to calculate t values for any confidence interval between 50% and 99.95% with 1 to 120 degrees of freedom. In the two boxes below you should place your input. The confidence interval to be represented as a fraction. In other words 95% has to be entered as 0.95. The degrees of freedom is the number of data points you have minus 1 (N-1). Allowed values are between 1 and 120.
