[CHM 112] Quiz Prep for Tomorrow

I would encourage you to look at the following things to be ready for a 
quiz tomorrow:

*From Ch**apter 13:*

How to calculate molarity and molality.
How to calculate the vapor pressure over a volatile solvent when it 
contains another non-volatile component.

This goes back to the equation

$P = XP^0$

Where $X$ is the mole fraction of the solvent and $P^0$ is the vapor 
pressure of the pure solvent at a given temperature. So make sure you 
know how to calculate mole fraction too!


*From Chapter 14:*

Know  how to use experimental data to calculate the rate law for either 
a reaction with one or two reactants.  In other words, be able to repeat 
what I did in class today to determine the missing components of either 
the rate law:

$\mathrm{Rate}=k [\mathrm{CONC}]^n$

or, in the case of two reactants,

\documentclass{article} \usepackage[utf8x]{inputenc} \pagestyle{empty} 
\begin{document} $\mathrm{Rate} = k [\mathrm{CONC}]_1^m 
[\mathrm{CONC}]_2^n%this is where your LaTeX expression goes \end{document}


using experimental data from a table.
