[CHM 181] Quiz 1 Woes

Good morning.  I got several e-mails from students overnight about their
grade on the first quiz. Remember, I only count your best 6 quiz
grades.  The quizzes help show you your weaknesses (either in content
knowledge or problem solving skills) before the exam and also reward
those that are doing the homework, going to SI, and adequately
preparing.  The quiz grades, in the long run, will generally benefit
your overall grade in the class.

Don't stress about one poor quiz grade -- but do use those results as an
indicator of where you need to be focusing some of your study time.
