[CHM 371] PDF Conversion Problems

  Some of you have reported problems with PDF conversion in Word 2007.   
Basically your equations turn out to be unreadable lines.

Here is what I recommend.  When you save as a PDF click on the options 
button.  Down at the bottom of the page there is an option to either 
save uknown fonts as bit mapped text or use PDF/A mode.

Click the box so that you are using ISO 10995-1 Compliant PDF/A mode and 
see if that helps.

If any of you try this please let me know if it works for you.   I 
worked on my simple test -- but some of your papers may  be more 
complicated.
