Hello Class,
Normally you turn in lab reports one week after you complete the
lab. For the ALUM lab I am going to make that two weeks so some of you
can learn about stoichiometry. So you will not turn in a lab this
week. However, in the following week you will turn in TWO labs -- the
Alum lab and the Spectroscopic determination of Nickel lab.
For the ALUM lab you will turn in your Generalized report form, the
completed report form with all of you data neatly recorded on it, and
the CARBON COPIES from your lab notebook. On the generalized report
form you will need to include things. The mass of aluminum you used,
the theoretical yield of ALUM and your percent yield of ALUM. ALL OF
THIS NEEDS TO BE RECORDED WITH THE CORRECT NUMBER OF SIGNIFICANT DIGITS.
