[CHM 111 Lab] Pre-lab

I have not yet opened the pre-lab for Alum or Nickel because many of you 
have not covered this material in class yet.  I will open them later 
today and you will have until next Saturday night to complete them.  By 
that time everyone across all of my sections of CHM 111 should have 
covered basic stoichiometry and solution stoichiometry.

Some of  you are wondering why we are having to postpone pre-labs like 
this.  We changed textbooks, and hence the lab sequence, this year and 
in the process had to move labs around.  The new schedule also meant we 
had to start lab a week earlier.   This has caused us some mild pain 
because for the first few labs we are doing some things in lab before we 
cover them in class (namely reaction and solution stoichiometry).  Once 
we finish these things, the submission of pre-labs will resume a more 
sane schedule.
