The buffer calculations for the acid/base lab seemed too easy so of course I’m overthinking and second guessing an insane amount. So as far as I have gathered, my buffer pH will be equal to my pKa then from there I use pKa=-log(Ka) to find my Ka. Does that sound right or am I going in the complete wrong direction? Thank you!
It's just that easy. The whole purpose of recombining the part that we
titrated to the endpoint with the other half was so that when we
measured the pH it would be the pKa of the weak acid.
