Class - tomorrow we will start to transition into chapter 2 -- and we
will finish out the week in chapter 2. I have placed some new even
numbered problems on the class webpage for you to try. It is my hope to
start getting some of my solutions to these problems scanned by this
weekend.
You will RARELY hear me to tell you to commit things to memory -- but it
is sometimes necessary and I will try to tell you when it is appropriate
to commit something to memory. I strongly encourage you to know how to
convert inches to cm.
1 inch = 2.54 cm (exact)
Also, I recommend that you start memorizing the common anions in Table
3.9 of your text on page 121. I also recommend memorizing the formulas
for the acetate and ammonium ions:
Acetate: C_2 H_3 O_2 ^-
Ammonium: NH_4 ^+
See you in the morning...
