Okay -- I was focused on water this morning.... you actually need the
normal modes of vibration for CO2 to do 2b. Please ignore my earlier
message.
Here are the three experimentally determined vibrational frequencies for
CO2 -- you should be able to figure out if you need to use one more than
once.
1285.4 cm-1, 1388.0 cm-1, and 2349.1 cm-1.
