[CSC 125] Reasons Why Dates Moved

I mentioned last night that I was going to have to move the due dates
for the things that were due last night to a date later in the week.
The reason for this is that BlackBoard is doing some very strange things
with respect to the grading of you assignments. I can go in and grade
them, fill out all of the rubrics I created for assignments and submit
the grade only to find out that BlackBoard still shows the assignment as
ungraded. I graded some of your forms assignments three or four times
and finally just had to override the BlackBoard system to enter a grade.

I have brought this problem to the attention of BlackBoard support --
and I anticipate it being resolved in the next day or two. Because I
didn't want to risk another grading fiasco, I gave you until tomorrow
night (Wednesday) to complete the assignments that were due last night.

Please understand, pushing back assignments like this is not something I
can do often -- there is just too much to grade with you guys each
turning in somewhere between five and eight assignments a week with some
of those requiring a lot of attention on my part to grade correctly.
With that said, try and "work ahead". I have put just about everything
out there for the entire semester with the exception of the last few
assignments. This was done intentionally so you could work ahead and be
in control of your own schedule.

As always ask questions is you need help.
