I will return the pendulum proof of concept rubrics in class today. We
will then use the hour to transition our codes to part 1 of the full
pendulum assignment following the guidelines that I passed out last
time. By the end of class I would like to see the first attempt at
placing your pendulum on a support (using gluQuadrics or just simple
vertex commands).
For those that missed class on Tuesday, the texturing repository we used
previously has several examples. Once you clone it, checkout (in git)
example4 and look at how I texture map the sphere. Also pay close
attention to how all of the textures are loaded in myInit and the
texture ID's placed in an array with a global scope.
