Long and John,

  John we missed you yesterday.   I have prepared a slightly modified 
data explorer visual program for displaying a molecule using the 
information in a PDB file.  I had to fix some things in the program to 
point to the correct directories.   Copy the following files to your own 
directories for screwing around...

/pub/pounds/mdview/longjohn/BallAndStick2.net
/pub/pounds/mdview/longjohn/BallAndStick2.cfg
 
If you have modified your profiles like I mentioned in my prior e-mail, 
then you can start dx with the command

dx -mdf /pub/pounds/mdview/CMSP/outboards.mdf

and then run/edit this visual program and a molecular structure should 
appear on the screen.  Let me know if you are able to see the structure.
